My healing work is dedicated to helping others find wellness and a deeper sense of peace and spirituality in their lives. In my practice, I combine Reiki, Crystals, Essential Oils and Oracle Cards to facilitate healing on the physical, emotional, cellular and spiritual levels.

Whether you are struggling with chronic pain, disease, anxiety, depression, rapid life transitions, or perhaps you just need a new direction or relaxation, I offer gentle, energetic support and guidance to help restore balance and wholeness and increase well-being and joy in your life. It is possible to live life without pain, anxiety and illness, I believe our true natural state of being is that of wellness.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (Ray-Key) is an ancient, gentle, hands-on healing art that helps you feel better and heal better. Dr. Usui, a Japanese Christian educator, rediscovered this healing method in his study of ancient Tibetan texts. You can use Reiki to facilitate deep relaxation, relieve pain, and promote healing and personal growth. Reiki stimulates your body's innate healing resources, encouraging a return to wellness.

Reiki means Universal Life Force - the healing energy of the universe. Reiki works on three planes of healing, the physical, the emotional and the cellular level.

Distant Reiki

Reiki flows where it is needed when it is needed, and this includes across time and space. Whether you send energy healing to a person, place, animal, object, plant, situation, or the entire planet, the healing energy can help facilitate growth and change that serves the highest and greatest good.

How Distant Reiki is performed: Out loud or silently, I invite the person’s energetic essence to come between my hands. Then I go through a simple four-step formula composed of three symbols to connect with the energetic essence of the person or situation. With my palms facing each other—not touching—I hold that person’s energetic essence between my hands and say out loud, ‘May this person or situation be filled with Reiki for the highest healing good.’”

How does Distant Reiki work? Think of a cell phone. It’s not necessary to be in physical proximity to a caller to talk on a cell phone, as cell phones use electromagnetic radio waves to connect with other cell phones. Similarly, Reiki recipients do not need to be in physical proximity to Reiki practitioners to receive Reiki, just as practitioners don’t need to be near recipients to send it.

While many who receive Distant Reiki sit comfortably still or lie down for sessions, which may be as brief as 15 minutes, it’s not necessary to take a timeout. The cells of the body are intelligent. They can pull in the energy and use it appropriately to activate the wellness within.

The experience of receiving Distant Reiki varies depending on the recipient’s sensitivity. Generally speaking, recipients feel calmer and more relaxed, optimistic, and empowered. Their healing may accelerate; their sense of well-being may increase.

During a Reiki session, you lay on a comfortable massage table with blankets as she proceeds to place her hands on you (or not, your choice) to release energy, open pathways, and help your body heal itself.
