Prolific Painter

I am an abstract artist whose paintings have been exhibited in and around the Boston, area on and off for the past twenty-five years.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth. I have also studied at the New England School of Art and Design where I was trained in the art of faux bois painting. I worked as a muralist and furniture painter in and around the North Shore of Boston Massachusetts.

My abstract paintings and drawings stem from my natural surroundings and most currently from my imagination. I use texture, line, color and glazing to create compositions that create a sense of place and evoke a certain mood.

Two of my daughters recently got married and asked me to paint a portrait of their bridal parties. They loved them so much, they convinced me to offer my custom wedding party portraits to other brides and grooms who would like to add a custom touch to their wedding. I also offer pet portraits along with my fine art paintings.
